Requirements

Requirements prior to Moveable Sections change:

You need to participate in some form of physical activity regularly (at least one hour per week) for at least:

  • 3 months at Bronze level
  • 4 months at Silver level
  • 5 months at Gold level

Effective 1st January 2007 - Moveable Sections:

We have made a change to the programme which means that you now have a choice to make when it comes to the time requirements.  Check out the Introduction to the Sections page to see all the details.

 

Getting yourself involved in a physical activity may:

  • start you on a life long interest in a new activity
  • lead you to a healthier lifestyle
  • introduce you to a new group of people

Some examples of different activities you can do for your physical recreation are ...

Racquet games badminton, tennis etc
Team games basketball, hockey, volleyball etc
Martial arts judo, karate etc
Personal pursuits athletics, aerobics, weights etc
Dancing ballroom, line dancing, jazz ballet etc
Water sports diving, water skiing, swimming etc
And ... golf, yoga, skateboarding etc
